What do you do when you hit the wall?

I need advice from some of my running - workout friends!

I have - I think- hit what runner-workout people call "hit the wall."

You may recall that for the last couple of weeks I have been restricted from running due to tendonitis in my left knee. While that was going on I developed a bad chest cold.

I was released to beging jogging again and my cold is much better but now it is cold and rainy!

I do not feel liek working out or running!

Here is where I need your advice...when this happens to you what do you do-say to yourself to get motivated!?

Help!

You can either:
a) Go to an all you can eat buffet. There, you will be surrounded by fat people, and the overall vibe they give off will make you so sick you will not want to eat.
- or-
b) You can surround yourself with super skinny people and watch workout videos on TV. The extreme guilt will make you get up off the couch and start running.

While I appreciate the options "anonymous" put forth, those of us that carry a bit of extra weight would prefer a little more "Christian" solution and perhaps think about those people who would just like to have options and don't. Remember the reason why you started on this journey in the first place - to run for those who can't run for themselves. Honor those whose health won't allow them to do what you can which means getting off the couch!

I start with small goals and don't beat myself up. I had run for a few years and I think I kinda "ran into a wall"...now I get out to walk and by the end I have the energy to jog some of it...I am hoping in a few weeks I will get up to jog again!
